Joanne's rate and unit rate problems

1) There were 400 penguins per 20 miles. The amount of penguins that showed up were equal to 70 more miles. How many more penguins showed up? Solve using unit rate.

2) Leandro owns 20 houses per streets. He owns 12 streets. How many houses does he own?




3) Bob can hit a bucket of 323 golf balls in 17 hours. How many golf balls can Bob hit in 23 hours?

4) Candice's heart beats 30 times in 6 minutes. How many times does her heart beat in a minute?

    He owns 240 houses per street.

    Leandro owns 15 houses per streets. He owns 21 streets. How many houses does he own in each street?

  4. I'm not sure if anyone has pointed this out already, but if your heart beats only five times a minute, that's not very healthy. That means somethings wrong with your heart. JUST SAYING.
