Alexia's Rate and Unit Rate Problems

Group Unit Rate:
a.) Simon is planning to build a penguin shelter that could fit 400 penguins. There is a total of 20 miles of space to build the shelter. If Simon wants to build seperate shelters for the penguins, how will he divide 20 miles of space to fit 400 penguins?
 


Group Rate:
a.) There is 15 volleyball teams in a school. There is a total of 120 players altogether. How many players is there in 7 teams?


My Unit Rate:
a.) Joey just finished his 5 month contract for unlimited data on his phone. He had a rate of $280/5 months. If he pays at the same rate, how much would it cost if he added 1 more month to his Contract?

My Rate:
a.) My car used up 80.5L of gas in 900km. My friend used up 40L of gas in 450km. Who has the better fuel mileage? Answer both car's L/50km rate.

    There is 36 volleyball teams in a school. There is a total of 269 players altogether. How many players is there in 15 teams?

      The answer to your question may not be a proper rate per volleyball teams becuase the number of players by my calculations is 112.083 with the repeating 3.

    It would cost $366.

    Joey just finished his 8 month contract for unlimited data on his phone. He had a rate of $320/8 months. If he pays at the same rate, how much would it cost if he added 3 more months to his contract?

      The answer to your question is $616.

      I honestly did this question wrong becuase I meant for this to be a unit rate. But the way you answered it as a rate is correct.
