Aaron's Rate and Unit Rate Word Problems


1. Caspar is preparing for a picnic with his friends. He is buying three oranges per person. If there are 16 people coming, how many oranges will he have to buy?

2. Kurt bought 9 liters worth of oil for $30. How much money did he pay per liter?

3. Crowe works at a well paying job, and has earned his first paycheck. He earned $60 in a week. How much money will Crowe have after 3 weeks.

4. Augustus wants to know how much money it would cost to buy 14 redwood shelves. If 5 redwood shelves cost $675, how much would 14 redwood shelves cost?
