 Let X be the length of the shadow


20) The length of a human to its shadow is 1:3. If the length of a lighthouse is 600 meters, how long is the length of the shadow?








Let X be the number of teachers for 120 students.


The number of teachers to students is 1:30. If there were 120 students, how many teaches would there be?








24) For  an 18 issue subscription it is $ 40.25. For an 13 month subscription, it is $ 33.60. Which is the better buy?
